"indigenous Zimbabwean as defined in the Act, refers to anyone who, before independence in April 1980, "was subjected to unfair discrimination [presumably in Zimbabwe] on the ground of their race, and includes a descendant of such a person".
The new act which has been in the making for quite some time now finally equipes the people’s government with good tools to redress the history of colonial dicrimiation in the former apartheid state. It is a grand victory not only for zimbabweans and africans but people fighting for justice everywhere.
