Comrade Mugabe on Revolutionary Unity
By Jan Freidun Taravosh 11th of december

"We have been together around the same principles that united

and enabled us to acquire our land.

These are the principles that yielded that unity. We need to cherish

this unity."

 - Cde. RG MUGABE ADDRESSES THE 79TH ORDINARY SESSION OF THE Cental Committie of the ZANU (P.F.)
Introduction:

For those who have not had the chance to aquaint themselves with the dynamics of Zimbabwean politics due to the biased and racist nature of western media, then one should take the chance to read an article directly from Zimbabwe instead. Right now the annual national people's congress is happening in the Republic of Zimbabwe, and the first secretary  Cde RG. Mugabe addressed the central committee yesterday reports the publicly owned Zimbabwean daily the Herald. In case of Zimbabwe developments it is of paramount importance to get material directly from the source. interesting developments happened in Zimbabwe yesterday such as the National People's congress endorsing the election of a new Presidium and a new Central Committee yesterday.

Comrade Mugabe Addresses the 79th ordinary session of the ZANU (P.F.) Central Committee

In his recent adress, Comrade Mugabe harked back to the days of the foundation of the revolutionary movement in Zimbabwe and stressed the importance of Unity firs and foremost, and urged party members to shun factionalism and egoism in the best interest of the people. Comrade Mugabe also stressed the need for all delegates to look to the future.

"Despite the fact that we have a new executive elected recently,
the struggle will continue as they fight for future victories.

Why not get together and know that this is about Zanu-PF being one?

The people do not belong to anyone. You are not Mugabe or Mai

Mujuru or Nkomo members, but members of the party, a people’s

party."

In stressing the importance of looking ahead to the future at the same time Cde Mugabe

urged all party members not to forget the revolutionary history of the party and the experiences and revolutionary principles of the liberation struggle.

"We hope that we will still find Zanu-PF alive in the future.

The spirit and history of Chimurenga is alive, even in the years to

come and so is the basic principle that Zimbabwe will never be a

colony again.

"It is this foundation, a firm foundation that is harder than stone, a

foundation built on the blood lost during the struggle.

"If the party was not built on that foundation, we would have just been

some other organisation.

"Those who sacrificed their lives, properties, and were driven into

‘keeps’ in support of the fighters will stand on that firm and solid

foundation, We are what we are because of the sacrifices made by other people.

Let us see that our children know this history and be proud that their

forefathers fought against imperialism. "

Thus spoke Comrade Mugabe clearly demonstrating that side of him rhat the western imperialists do not want us to see.
